“Leadership Challenge” is a new programme of Executive
Education delivered by RANEPA’s Faculty of International MBA Programmes.
“Leadership Challenge” is a programme of leadership development by means of
intensive and thoughtful work over Self. “Challenge” is first of all internal
transformation. The inner transformational work has more changes for success if
it highlighted by external challenge, therefore, the background of the programme
is a travel to distant virgin places far from touristic routes.
The methodology of the programme is based on the assumption
confirmed by numerous research stating that top managers and successful businessmen –
people at the top of the corporate tower - have difficulties receiving adequate feedback,
retain healthy self-critical view, objectively assess own managerial skills and, as a result,
define the areas for continuous development – the key characteristic of successful leader in the 21 century.
The programme is largely based on the ideas and coaching experience of Manfred
Kets de Vries, professor of INSEAD business school, one of the internationally-recognized guru
of leadership development and Marshall Goldsmith, American guru of executive consultancy, stating
that most problems of top managers are rooted in their behaviour: at the time when executives have
reached the highest level of professionalism, behavioural problems can be a serious barrier for their
further personal development.
The variation of methodology is offered in Team Challenge programme designed for
developing corporate teams and improving their efficiency.
