The MBA Kingston/RANEPA students were invited by the Governor’s office to visit the Kaluga region. On 15 May the students after finishing their Operations and Debating module left for Kaluga. Kaluga Oblast is a federal subject of Russia. Its administrative center is the city of Kaluga. Kaluga region’s investment portal looks very rich and strong. Industrial parks are the key business products that Kaluga Region offers to investors. Industrial parks represent comprehensively prepared land plots having clearly stated legal rights, necessary infrastructure, and utilities. The list of their advantages includes the possibility to place any production facilities at the proposed sites: from pharmaceutical companies to car-manufacturing plants, and the investor does not bear any hidden or extra costs. The 7th annual business mission of the Association of Industrial Parks to Japan took place on May 13-17, 2019. The business mission is to promote the development of trade and economic relations between Russia and Japan, as well as to expand the pool of joint Russian-Japanese investment and technology projects. Today 97 investment projects are being implemented in the territory of industrial parks.
